We’ll talk in a moment, but first, meet the family! This is my crew and I love them to death. Brianna is my strength, my muse, and my best friend. Benjamin, Emma, Joseph, and Jacob are the greatest friends to have, and we recently welcomed Hazel and Sirius (our puppies) into the party. I couldn’t be luckier!
For my practice, I am admitted to the bar in California, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. I earned my undergraduate degree from BYU in international law and diplomacy, my law degree from Pepperdine University, and my Master of Law in taxation (LL.M.) from the University of Alabama. While at Pepperdine, I also earned a certificate in dispute resolution from the Straus Institute. Ever the glutton for punishment, I also recently passed all the exams necessary to receive my CPA license.
I’ve practiced in the tax sandbox for the last 15 years, beginning in ERISA and qualified benefit plans, branching out into cross-border transactions, family businesses, succession planning, asset protection, estate planning, and tax-exempt issues. I’ve learned that if money is the lifeblood of business, then I serve as a cardiologist.
I do speak Spanish, Portuguese, and French, as well as some Russian. Fortunately, I have been able to assist clients with matters in all these languages. I have lived across the country and in Brasil, France, and England.

Finally, I hold the same regard for running and writing as I do about dentistry: loathe the process, love the result. My true escape is the piano, and I’m always looking for a new challenge. I believe chocolate and fruit should NOT go together and that words like “genius” and “epic” should be used very sparingly. If we end up talking, you’ll find that I’m pretty free with my cell number and texting is always an option.
